Returns and Refunds
We sell heavy equipment, so return terms depend on the product and on whether it has been installed. Please read the section that applies to your order.
Return Window
Requests must be made within 30 days of the delivery date. Email info@trenchsafety.org with your order number and the reason for the return.
Uninstalled Equipment, Undamaged and Resalable
Fully returnable. Trenchsafety pays the return freight and charges no restocking fee.
We arrange collection once the return is approved. Please do not book your own carrier, as oversize freight must be scheduled through our own delivery providers.
Installed Propane Tanks and Other Pressure Vessels
Not returnable once installed. Removing an installed tank requires purging and certified handling, and for underground tanks excavation as well — work that must be carried out by a licensed contractor and cannot be covered under a retail return.
If a tank is defective, contact us before installation and we will handle it as a warranty claim under the terms below.
Installed or Sited Buildings, Cabins and Containers
Not returnable once placed on site. Report any transit damage at the time of delivery.
Damaged or Incorrect on Arrival
We pay the return freight and either replace the item or refund it in full, including the original shipping charge.
Note the damage on the delivery paperwork before the driver leaves, and photograph it before unloading. This is the single most important step in any damage claim — a signed clean delivery receipt makes a carrier claim very difficult to pursue.
Custom, Modified and Special-Order Items
Not returnable unless defective.
Refund Method and Timing
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of the returned item being received and inspected.
Where payment was made by bank transfer, the refund is returned to the originating account. We will ask you to confirm those account details in writing before we send it.
Cancellation Before Dispatch
Full refund, no fee, provided the order has not yet been released to a carrier.
