A horizontal steel vessel built to ASME code and painted for above-ground siting.
Typical applications
1,000 gallons is a whole-property capacity. It suits a large home or commercial space, and carries additional load such as a pool heater or standby generator on the same supply without the refill frequency a smaller tank would bring.
Why above ground
Above-ground installation avoids excavation, backfill and cathodic protection entirely, which makes it markedly cheaper and quicker to commission. It is also the practical choice on sites where burial is not possible — high water table, rock, or restricted access for excavation plant. The trade-off is a large visible vessel that must sit at compliant distances from buildings and boundaries.
Before you order
Setback distances and siting are governed by NFPA 58 and by your state and local authority. The tank needs a level, firm prepared base, and delivery of a vessel this size requires mechanical handling and clear site access.
Confirm your permit and licensed installer before ordering. We deliver the tank and do not install, fill, connect or commission it.
