A horizontal steel tank finished in protective paint for above-ground siting. Above-ground installation is the simpler and less expensive option: no excavation, no backfill, no cathodic protection, and the vessel stays accessible for inspection and service.

320 gallons suits a mid-sized home with propane heating, or a property running several appliances where a smaller tank would mean uncomfortably frequent refills.
Before you order
Above ground does not mean unregulated. Setback distances from buildings, property lines and sources of ignition are set by NFPA 58 and by your state and local authority, and the tank needs a level, firm base prepared before delivery.
Installation must be carried out by a licensed propane professional. Confirm your permit and installer first. We deliver the tank to an accessible point on your property and do not install, fill or connect it.
